Leadership
Hans van Gaalen is a leader with over two decades of international experience in the offshore energy sector, including senior roles at Van Oord, Heerema Marine Contractors, Seaway Heavy Lifting, and OOS International. Throughout his career, he has combined technical understanding with commercial vision to successfully secure and deliver more than €1.5 billion in offshore energy projects to the vast majority of the energy multinationals across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia.
Guided by a belief that a large part of the global energy future will originate offshore, Hans founded DAMCOR Offshore Services to help clients navigate the offshore energy transition safely and sustainably. His leadership is driven by the same principles that define the company’s purpose; creativity, determination, collaboration and operational excellence. By building strong partnerships and empowering expert teams, he continues to drive DAMCOR’s mission to deliver safe, efficient, sustainable and environmentally responsible offshore solutions that power progress at sea and support transition to a clean energy future.
